Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Property Synth AI Inc. ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on propertysynthai.pro (the "Website"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information under PIPEDA.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep sessions secure and — with your consent — understand how visitors use pages. Similar technologies include local storage entries and pixel tags. In this Policy, "cookies" refers to cookies and comparable browser storage unless stated otherwise.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate the Website, remember your cookie consent choices, and — only if you agree — measure traffic and support advertising measurement. We do not use cookies to make automated decisions about eligibility for real-estate transactions, financing or investments.
3. Cookie categories
3.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for basic Website functionality and cannot be switched off through our banner. They may include:
- psa_cookie_consent — stores your cookie preference JSON (necessary, analytics, marketing flags). Duration: six months. Set by Property Synth AI.
- Load-balancing or security tokens from our hosting provider, if present, to deliver pages reliably and mitigate abuse.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under Canadian guidance because the Website cannot function fairly without them.
3.2 Analytics (optional)
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and whether visitors arrive from campaigns. We use this information to improve content and navigation. Analytics cookies are placed only if you choose Accept all or enable Analytics in Customise.
Example vendors we may configure when analytics consent is granted:
- Google Analytics 4 — page views, events, approximate geography, device type. Typical retention per Google configuration. Privacy policy: google.com/policies/privacy. Opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Plausible Analytics (privacy-oriented, if enabled) — aggregate page statistics without cross-site tracking. Privacy policy: plausible.io/data-policy.
We configure analytics to avoid collecting unnecessary personal information. IP addresses may be truncated where vendor settings allow.
3.3 Marketing (optional)
Marketing cookies measure advertising effectiveness and may build audiences for remarketing on third-party platforms. They are placed only if you choose Accept all or enable Marketing in Customise. We do not run discriminatory housing ads and do not target protected characteristics.
Example vendors we may configure when marketing consent is granted:
- Google Ads conversion tag — records visits after ad clicks for campaign reporting. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Ads settings: adssettings.google.com.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (if enabled) — conversion and website audience insights for B2B campaigns. Privacy policy: linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy. Opt-out: linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
- Meta Pixel (if enabled) — aggregated event data for ad measurement. Privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy. Ad preferences: facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
4. Consent management
When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner offers three choices:
- Accept all — enables strictly necessary, analytics and marketing cookies;
- Reject all — enables only strictly necessary cookies;
- Customise — opens a modal where you toggle Analytics and Marketing separately.
Your selection is stored in the psa_cookie_consent cookie for six months, after which the banner may appear again so you can revisit your choice. You may change preferences at any time by clearing cookies in your browser and reloading the page, or by contacting [email protected] for assistance.
Contact form consent for PIPEDA (consent_pipeda) is separate from cookie consent and is never pre-checked.
5. Storage durations summary
- Cookie consent record (
psa_cookie_consent): six months - Google Analytics identifiers: per vendor configuration (often up to two years unless shortened)
- Marketing pixels: per vendor configuration, typically one day to ninety days for campaign cookies
- Hosting/session cookies: session or short-lived (hours to days)
6. Browser controls & opt-out
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through settings. Blocking all cookies may affect Website functionality. Useful resources:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Industry opt-out pages for interest-based advertising in Canada and the United States include youradchoices.ca and the Digital Advertising Alliance tools at optout.aboutads.info.
7. Do Not Track
There is no uniform standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We honour the cookie choices you make through our banner rather than DNT headers alone.
8. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove vendors, change consent mechanics or respond to regulatory guidance. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material updates will be posted on this page.
